Welcome to Cambridge! I'm very inspired by your Go Go Go and also by how you've known when to rest and allow all that hard work to start bringing its rewards to you. A client of mine was just telling me a similar story - it was when she allowed herself to REST that the fruits of her labour made themselves apparent. She knew she needed both - the years of work to get to this point, AND the resting period where she could be in a more receptive mode. The yin and the yang, the active and the receptive.

It's been amazing to watch your journey with writing - 6 published in 6 months; an inspiration to anyone who's been sitting on ideas.

You've shown that you have to keep pitching, keep writing and take "no" responses as a sign to find different angles. It's wonderful that you've had this success and that so many people have been able to follow your words of wisdom.

WELL DONE!

I too am compelled to respond to the accusation of a yoga pose being incorrect, albeit briefly. No yoga pose is incorrect unless it is causing pain or will result in injury. Yoga asana practice is not a goal orientated practice but a practice (when talking purely in physical terms) to go to your appropriate edge and that is only something that can be felt from within. But actually it's great that people do make comments like this for others to highlight the real purpose of a yoga practice. And how yoga is a fantastic journey to integrate mind, body and spirit. It's also interesting to understand the many different styles of yoga, some of which teach downward facing dog with the heels high in the air!

Hey Rosanna,

Gorgeous light-radiating site! I am writing with my big sunglasses on, a broad smile and a carrot juice cocktail.

It's so all about letting go and waking up, isn't it? That's one of the things I love about yoga - it makes the sun rise inside you... and your site is a lovely reflection of that...

Hooray!

Love love,

Emily

I liked the idea of focusing on running each mile for someone other than yourself. My experience is also that if one can shift the attention off "little me", all of a sudden, one is living in the big, wide world, and one can become sensitive to the connections. The African saying "umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu" is often translated "I am becauise we are" (more literally "a person derives their humanity from other people, from common human-ness").
The universal mind can be connected with, and then one enters "the zone" which athletes speak of.
Well done Rosanna, and thanks for the blog!
